Callable is a product of Miramedia Retail Inc. (“Miramedia,” “we,” “us”), a company based in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this page or join the Callable guest list, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us when you join the guest list: the Callable link you want, your email address, and, if you choose, your first name, your Instagram or TikTok handle, and the kind of creator you are.
- Basic technical information: our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to keep the site running and secure.
- Information saved on your device: this page stores a small note in your browser so it remembers that you joined and which video it last showed you. It stays on your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
How we use it
- To hold your requested Callable link and let you know when your account is ready.
- To send you emails about Callable, including launch news and your invitation. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To understand who is interested in Callable so we can build it well.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Consent
By joining the guest list, you consent to us collecting and using your information as described here, and to receiving emails about Callable from Miramedia Retail Inc. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers that help us run Callable, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify) and, when we start sending emails, our email service provider. They may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Where it’s stored
Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
We keep guest list information until Callable launches and for as long as you have an account or remain subscribed to our emails. If you ask us to delete it, we will, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us at the address below. If you have a concern we can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Age
Callable is meant for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
